pmplegacy worked for England Netball to assist with the development of its bid to host the World Netball Championships in 2015. Working in partnership with Manchester City Council, UK Sport and the Northwest Regional Development Agency, pmplegacy played an integral role in developing a bid that played to England’s strengths and set out the potential for the delivery of a world class sustainable event with legacy at its core.

This support built on previous work that pmplegacy undertook for England Netball including a ‘benefits of bidding workshop’  and a feasibility study to better highlight and understand the opportunities and challenges associated with bidding for and staging the World Netball Championships.
