pmplegacy was retained by the local organising committee for the African Cup of Nations to help them develop two key aspects of their preparation for this event.
Firstly, to prepare a robust legacy plan that identified the long term sporting, cultural and economic benefits of staging the event with a particular focus of developing Ghana's tourism potential. Secondly, to advise on the business plans and procurement options for new multi purpose stadia in Accra and Kumasi. Our work provided the framework for important new government legislation and long term programmes designed to increase both sports tourism and participation throughout the country.
