This assignment led to his role as project manager of the redevelopment of Springfield Stadium in St Helier (the main venue for the event) helping to transform an old and very tired stadium in to a new, vibrant and viable community stadium that features sports halls, health and fitness, community spaces and outdoor multi-courts. Following on from the success of the 1997 Island Games pmplegacy has developed a strong relationship with the Island Games Association and prepared feasibility and bid books for the 2005 Nat West Shetland Island Games.
