The local organising committee bidding for the inaugural Youth Olympics in 2010 appointed pmplegacy in conjunction with VERO and Burson-Marsteller to help prepare the bid book for this major new event.
Our role working closely with the client team and the other professional advisors was to provide technical advice on all of the bid book themes, especially sport, venues and education. We also developed the legacy strategy for the event to help Singapore deliver long term and sustainable benefits well before, during and long after 2010. The result? A winning bid and a really exciting venue for the first ever Youth Olympics.
