pmplegacy was part of a UK Trade and Investment mission to South Africa to meet potential host cities.
The International Rugby Board appointed pmplegacy to assist with developing tournament specific plans with England and Japan, the host countries for the 2015 and 2019 Rugby World Cups.

pmplegacy played an integral role in the development of England’s bid to host the 2018 or 2022 FIFA World Cup. Working closely with the England 2018/2022 team led by technical director Ian Riley, together with a range of specialist architects and accommodation experts, pmplegacy attended two rounds of intensive inspection visits to evaluate and develop each prospective host city’s offer in order to select the Candidate Host Cities for England’s bid.
We completed a comprehensive feasibility to assess the potential to host a FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour event in London. This study also helped inform progress towards a longer term goal to build capacity and expertise required in the run up to London 2012, with a view to hosting the FIVB World Championships, post 2012.
