2002 Manchester Commonwealth Games for UK Government

pmplegacy completed an evaluation of the community legacy benefits of the Manchester Commonwealth Games in 2002.

England Netball appointed pmplegacy to assist with the development of its bid to host the World Netball Championships in 2015.

British Columbia

pmplegacy was appointed as part of a team led by planning consultants Yates Thorn & Associates to develop a range of guidelines on community sport tourism for 2010 Legacies Now.

Cayman Islands

We were appointed by the Cayman Islands Ministry of Education, Training, Employment, Youth, Sports and Culture to develop the first ever National Sports Strategy.

East of England RDA – Event Strategy

pmplegacy was appointed in January 2008 by the East of England Development Agency in partnership with Sport England East and Arts Council England to develop a Major Events Strategy Framework and Action Plan for the East of England.

Events for London and England Volleyball FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour event feasibility study

We completed a comprehensive feasibility to assess the potential to host a FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour event in London. This study also helped inform progress towards a longer term goal to build capacity and expertise required in the run up to London 2012, with a view to hosting the FIVB World Championships, post 2012.

Feasibility study on Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games bid

pmplegacy was appointed by the Bid Assessment Group to undertake a comprehensive feasibility study to inform the decision of whether to bid for the Games.

FIFA Woman’s Football

pmplegacy worked with FIFA to research and develop over 30 case studies from all over the world and to compile good practice guidance for a FIFA publication on the development of women’s football, including the important role of delivering events.
