Rob has been Chief Executive of Ryder Cup Wales 2010 Ltd (RCW) since September 2002 and played a key part in establishing the company following the successful bid to host the event.

 
RCW’s role is to oversee and facilitate the public sector elements of the Ryder Cup bid commitments from 2001-10 including delivery of an annual “Wales Summer of Golf” including six major events, a £2m Legacy Fund, maximising the wider economic, tourism and golf development benefits of 2010.

Prior to this Rob had responsibility for co-ordinating delivery of the bid commitments as Head of the Sport, Lottery and Major Events division at the National Assembly for Wales.
