John’s philosophy is the combining of sport, entertainment and community into sustainable destinations for the future. As a senior principal of Populous, he is involved in the planning and design of major sports and leisure facilities.

John is currently leading the Grand Stade project for the Olympique Lyonnais, a world-class innovative 60,000 seat stadium complex for the French ligue 1 football club and a large-scale masterplan for a Sports City in the Middle-East. He is also in charge of the London 2012 Olympic Overlay project, the Sochi 2014 Olympic Master Plan and Stadium and the Silverstone Circuit Redevelopment.
