An hour long bus trip guided by LOCOG gives you the opportunity to see the progress of the London 2012 Olympic Park and learn about the environmental and community programmes running in and around the site. The tours will show you how this industrial part of London will be transformed into a green corridor with 5km of parkland, connecting the beautiful new Thames Barrier Park, through the Olympic Park, to another large area of sport, leisure and nature - the Lee Valley.
Work has already started on the Aquatics Centre and you can observe the location of the 80,000-seat Main Stadium, the Handball Arena, Velodrome, Olympic Village, Broadcasting & Media Centres and Stratford City
Cost: The tour is courtesy of London 2012 but there is a £18 charge to cover transport and administration costs

Olympic Park Viewing Gallery
Located on the 22nd floor of Holden Point Tower in Stratford, the Olympic Park viewing gallery has been used since 2005 to give visitors, including members of the IOC and Queen Elizabeth II, an overview of the Olympic site in East London as it changes its urban landscape before the 2012 Olympic Games and beyond into its legacy. This is your opportunity to get a spectacular birds-eye view of the 1500 acre site and listen to an informative presentation on how the development is progressing.
